They are made of PVC coated polyester (PET) fibers. Their main advantage is high flexibility, which ensures a better interaction with low granulometry aggregates.
In standard products tensile strength ranges from 20 to 200 kN/m.
Uses:
– reinforcement of foundation soils, to increase bearing capacity;
– reinforcement of road, railway and platform foundations;
– embankments on soils with low bearing capacity;
– reinforcement of high embankments in bridge abutement zone;
– retaining walls for steep slopes.
